At ICEY TEK, we pride ourselves on building rugged, high-performance cooling gear that lasts for years. Our returns policy is designed to be fair and transparent.
1. Change of Mind Returns
If you realise you’ve purchased the wrong model or capacity, we offer a 30-day return window for an exchange or store credit. To ensure every ICEY TEK customer receives a pristine product, we only accept returns in "As New" condition.
- Condition: Items must be unused (never held food, bait, or ice), show no physical signs of use (scuffs or scratches), and be in the original, undamaged ICEY TEK carton or packaging.
- Exclusions: "Factory Seconds" or "Clearance" items are final sale.
- Shipping: For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return freight costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
2. How to Start a Return
To ensure your return is tracked and processed quickly at our warehouse, please follow these steps:
- Request: Email support@iceytek.com.au with your Order Number.
- Verify: Attach three clear photos (eg- Base, Internal Seal, and Exterior Shell) so we can confirm the condition.
- Return Number: Once approved, we will give you instructions on next steps.
3. Our Quality Guarantee (Faulty Goods)
We stand behind the structural integrity of our gear. If your product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:
- Structural Defects: If a unit has a defect that prevents it from functioning as intended, we will provide a full replacement or a refund.
- Component Issues: For minor issues (like a replaceable latch or bung), we will ship out the replacement parts to you immediately.
- Freight: If a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, ICEY TEK will cover the cost of the return freight.
4. ICEY TEK 5-Year Warranty
All ICEY TEK hard coolers are backed by a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects for recreational use.
- What’s Not Covered: This 5-year warranty applies strictly to hard coolers. It does not cover Soft Coolers, Wading Bags, Drink Bottles, or Accessories, which are subject to a separate 12-month limited warranty. Additionally, it does not cover standard wear and tear, accidental damage (such as dropping the cooler), or damage caused by permanent outdoor storage. For more information, view our Warranty Policy
- Real-World Performance: Please remember that ice retention is affected by ambient temperature, lid-opening frequency, and pre-chilling. Differences in ice life due to these external factors are not considered manufacturing defects.
5. Technical Inspection
All returns are inspected upon arrival. If an item returned for "Change of Mind" arrives damaged due to poor repacking or shows signs of use, we will contact you to discuss a partial credit or the return of the item to you.
